Glue on the pom pom nose. Then glue to the paper plate. Once the glue from the pipe cleaners is dry, glue on your nose (pom pom).  Leave time to dry, as this step will require it to be glued well, or the pipe cleaners will fall off. ๐Ÿ‡ Make the ears For the ears: Cut out some ears from white construction paper or cardstock, and then cut out a smaller inside ear with a different color. Glue both pieces together and then glue or tape to the back of the paper plate. ๐Ÿ‘„Add the eyes and mouth For the eyes: We used googly eyes and just glued them on, but you could also use construction paper and make the eyes yours...

Shoes Polishing - Practical Life Activity for Kids 3ages+

This particular lesson falls under the practical life area “care of oneself,” since it addresses personal appearance.

๐Ÿ’ก How to present polishing shoes

• Newspaper or used paper

• Shoe brush

• Oil or nontoxic shoe conditioner

• Small towel or buff cloth

• Cotton pad

• Basket to hold all the materials

• Shoes suitable for polishing

⏳ To do shoe polishing:

1. Bring materials to the table.

2. Use table mat with waterproof

3. Spread open the placemat and put the used paper on top of the mat.

4. Layout utensils left to right in this order: shoe brush, small towel, buff cloth, cotton pad, oil or polish applicator.

5. Name the pieces as you put them out.

6. Put the shoe on the used paper.

7. Now open the oil on the mat. Apply oil to the cotton pad in a circular motion.

8. Hold the shoe steady again, and apply polish with a circular motion.

9. Once the shoe is covered with polish, wait a moment or one minute for the polish to dry.

10. Wrap the cloth around your right fingers like a mitt. Steady the shoe again and brush off any remaining dirt.

11. Brush the shoe with the shoe brush, using a back and forth motion.

12. Demonstrate cleaning up: check the utensils for dirt (clean them off on the paper); retrieve clean clothes; make sure the lid is on the polish; put everything in the basket; fold up the paper and throw it away; get clean paper; return everything to the shelf ready for use.
